Privacy notice

This site sets no cookies, has no accounts and does not track you from page to page.

Who is responsible

CODE & BOOKS — [email protected].

What happens when you visit

The site is a set of static pages. The company that hosts and delivers them (Cloudflare) necessarily processes your IP address and the technical details of each request, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. We do not use that data to identify you.

The fonts are served from this site, not from a third party, so loading a page sends no request anywhere else.

What your browser keeps

If you choose an Amazon store from the list on a book page, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage, under the name cb:amazon-store) so that the button shows the same store next time. It never leaves your browser, and clearing the site data in your browser removes it.

Links to other sites

Buttons to buy a book take you to Amazon, and code links take you to GitHub. Once there, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, and object to its use. You can also complain to your data protection authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
